  • Mother Against Violence Community - Hulme Hall provides a family-friendly atmosphere in which service users access low-cost space for hire. We ensure access for local and extended communities. All users must support the ethos of improving our community. MAV generates funds through the hire of the hall. The funds will then be invested in Mothers Against Violence charitable projects and maintenance of the building.

  • There are two separated areas at the hall The main hall with access to a fully fitted kitchen is used gathering with guest of up to 150 for conference events. For a seated event total 130.

  • Hall hire includes: 8 round 5ft tables (seats 8-10 people), 2 large rectangular 6ft tables (often used for buffet tables), 1 small square table (often used for DJ) and 80 banqueting chairs.  

  • Additional items can be hired separately when booking for an additional cost.       

  • The kitchen can be hired separately just for cooking at a very reasonable price.     

  • Two Small Meeting room areas called The Walter Tull Room is fitted with 50 inch TV screen and laptop computer for presentations. Space has free Wi-Fi and a range of children’s toys. The rooms can be used as an alternative space for childminders, a regular space for counselling and parent contact visits. It is designed to support local professional services. This space is for small group meetings and holds a maximum of 14 adults. There is access to toilets in the main building, entrance to the toilets is from the outside of the building only. The room has hot and cold water, snacks and a selection of hot and cold drinks can be provided at an additional cost. Bookings are restricted to business and organisational use only.  

  • We are open for business and working within government guidelines. Please complete health questionnaire when booking.

  • Returnable security deposit required 14 days before booking, Maximum of £200 a Minimum of £100

  • Online security deposit refunds are made 3 days after booking

  • Cheque refunds are made 14 days after booking
